First ride out for 5 weeks

After fracturing a few ribs by falling on ice 5 weeks ago i have been gagging to take the GS out, after all i bought it in December and have only done 200 miles !!

Put a few farkles on it and felt just about well enough to go for a spin up the Brecon Beacons, a 60 mile round trip from where i live.
I must say i loved every minute , even if it was 5'c.----and yes, nothing wrong with heated grips on No 2 position,---not effective on N0. 1,

So is this a 2015 or 2014 model ?

Bearing in mind that the date it was registered ( December) does nor preclude it being a 2015 model.

It is Mine was built early September, and is a 2015, with the proper grips.

I think the 2015 model bikes have black heel guards whereas the previous models have silver heel guards. Are there any other tell tale differences ???

Mine is the 2015 Alpine model with black engine and frame.
Built Nov 2014.
Heated grips fine.

Cracking day down in South Wales today, so out for a spin with my m8.

Forest of Dean then onto Gloucester, down to Chepstow and back to Abergavenny !
