She was deliverd saturday and it was pouring down, sunday was the same but what the hell...........suited and booted headed off for keswick via coniston, grasmere and any other lanes I could find along the way in the lakes.

Had I been on my previous steed (kawasaki z1000) Id have been going round corners like they were a fifty pence piece!!! Not so on the GSA..It was a pleasure and the bike has such neutral handling, and the weight issue once rolling just isnt an issue and if anything Im sure it helps in the wet. All in all a very easy and relaxed bike to ride. Ended up doing 100 miles in the pouring rain

Its a bit viby but I can live with that, the buffeting I will sort with a tobinators kit. First impressions are good and Im very pleased with the bike despite it being tantamount to the hummer of the motorcycle world...jesus they are a size arent they!!!! Ride position is great with great view of whats ahead. I think Im going to like this bike!!

Yeah the riding position is great.. I took my old mans FJR out for a spin the other day, I felt so squashed up and tucked in and the FJR is hardly a small bike. Was such a relief to get back on the GS, suits my slower riding style :o

Enjoy your bike mate :thumb2 wish I had that countryside on my doorstep.

Nice one :thumb2 Wait 'till the roads dry up, you'll probably find you'll be cornering at the same pace as you were on the kwak:D
They really are a surprising bike and the more confidence you get in it the more capable it will seem. On the same ride you can torture sports bikes in the twisty bits and explore a green lane or two. Now you've just got to resist the urge to spend all you're hard earned on shiny stuff:D

I wouldint worry to much about the vibration. It keeps the blood circulating when you are riding long distances:cool:
