The R1200gs goes in for it's first service in the morning. Is there anything I should get them to do/ check? I know they obviously know what they are doing, but has anyone had anything done on a first service that isn't standard procedure?

Make sure you take your book in and hand it over to them so they can stamp it. They won't act on initiative!

Well if it's all that obvious to you why did you start this thread?! You leave your bike with a professional garage to complete a first service to the schedule, you would hope that they would know what they were doing and wouldn't need your guidance.

One thing they commonly don't do is stamp the service book. But obviously you already knew that.

Get them to change the TP monitor display ( if you have it ) to PSI from Bar...

I also prefer 24hour clock, which they can do with the bike plugged in :thumb
