First snow for this years winter?

yes - what a difference a week makes.

Last wednesday I spent the day on Bordensea (in a boat) and the temperature was 26 degrees centegrade

This morning I had the heated grip on the highest setting, full winter gear and the temperature gauge was reading -0.5 degrees centigrade

Snow predicted at the wekend on all ground above 400m.

Winter draws on..........

The Grossglockner was shut to bikes in the middle of July due to heavy snow fall we had to go round using the train Went up the next day it looked great but at least the roads were then clear

my GS was parked where the trailer is now.
a tad over a month ago, i bought some goods from the first stall/shop you see and the owners daughter said they get 7 mtr's of snow there in winter
