First 'Warm' Trip Out

Hi all,

Had a few rides out this year but always in the cold. Got home from work yesterday and the weather was actually warm !!!
Nipped and got the bike out for a trip into the Lakes. Parked the bike up, got the camera out, and no SD card :blast

So had to use the phone instead. Its about 15 minutes ride to the first photo:

Grasmoor near Crummock Water. OK, I missed the top off but it is there, honest.

This photo looks toward Red Pike and High Stile

Went on to Newlands Pass and took a couple of pics on top:

This is the view down Newlands from the top of the pass. I went that way down to Braithwaite, then home.

Got back feeling quite pleased about this little ride out, to find Mrs Beems at home on the step with her biking gear on hoping to have a ride out !!!!! S0, I did the same route again.

Next time your out give me a shout. I live very near junction 36 of the m6 and only 15 mins form the lakes, could ride some more of the passes.

what a differance a day makes today cold gale force winds but look on the bright side at least it is lighter at nights now. photos look good

It was a nice day, I thought around 1.00pm that it was such a nice day, that it was time to go to the pub, so by the time I got home, I was the worse for wear, wife was none to happy, as she wanted to go out on the bike :augie
