….you would then have space for a 276cX which would sit beautifully there.

Instant benefits would be loss of headaches and confusion, fuel saving, accurate navigation and so many more!
Just saying!
What benefits would this bring over say the Montana 700?

Buttons indeed although I would prefer them to be on the left but I have used the 270 series for a loooong time and am used to them.
For a reason which I do not know, it loads custom POI's, routes, tracks and maps faster than my 700. It recalculates faster too.
It has been the most reliable Satnav I have ever owned since the GPSII back in ... 1997
The display is excellent and no touch screen which often fail.
For me and I accept that it is for me only- it is the bees knees.
If only Garmin had fitted their original ( and waterproof) round plug as was on the 60csx I think it was, that would be perfect.

No, it is not compatible with a wonderwheel, nor can it play music nor link to your phone nor mess with 'apps' - nor make coffee nor is it triple black etc etc but it IS sheer navigation bliss. It does exactly what it says in the box and most importantly, it is reliable. But I accept it is not for everyone. Vive la difference
