Fit vario top box from 06 reg bike to watercooled

Has anyone fitted a vario top box from an older 12gs to their LC. I'm keeping my old bike and luggage and wanted to know if the box could be fitted to the new bike.

I'm stating the obvious but the panniers won't fit either as the exhaust is on the other side on the WC GS

Sell it on here (items for sale) & put £ towards new one, there was or is a WC top box in the for sale section..

I fitted my top box from my old T.C. to the LC model. I made up a 6mm aluminium adaptor plate to fit the rear rack and fitted the old box plate to the adaptor, works a treat.
Not too much effort, if you can use a jigsaw and a 6mm tap etc.

Sounds like a business plan, why dont you make it? Right price and quality, no brainer .
