Fitting Tfi 1031 to an 1100. Oxygen sensor?

Hi, I recently bought a Techlusion 1031 second hand and I've been looking in vain for decent fitting instructions for a GS1100. The instructions that came with it are not for this unit :(

The only instructions I can find are for installation of the 1030. I'm just wondering where the oxygen sensor is located and what it looks like :D

Oops, title should read as above. I'm obviously not trying to fit the 1031 to the BM oxygen sensor :)

John

Changed it for you John.

it's a big hex headed thing in the exhaust system with a wire coming out.

You may not have one on your 1100, I haven't, mine's a 99 model (but I think it was an import).

Thanks Paul.

I had a look and cant see anything with wires coming from the exhaust. I dont think this bike is an import it is a 99 model though. Im now even more confoozled :(

It probably has the CO pot mounted under the frame rail at the back on the rhs.
look for the flat bit of the muddy with the hole to put a screwdriver in. If you take out the tool tray you will see it.

They were all made in Germany so they are ALL imports.

Thanks Taipan but I've seen the 1030/R259 ones. The 1031 is totally different as the unit plugs into the left hand injector with a patch lead.

I believe all I need to do with the 1031 is hook up the male/female patch from the 1031 into the right hand injector, earth the unit and "disconnect the oxygen sensor". I know this isnt rocket science but I would still love to see 1031 specific instructions for a GS1100. Perhaps they dont exist though as I can find nothing on Techlusions web site. I've left a message on their help forum as I'm reluctant to fit the unit without finding out how my bike not having an oxygen sensor fits into the equation.
