Fitting an early shallow sump to an R65 possible?

Looking to fit an older shallow sump from a /7 to a 1981 R65 for extra ground clearance on a project and wondered if anyone has tried it before/ knows of any problems I'll encounter. I know I'll need a shorter oil pick up but am I missing anything?

When you refill with the correct oil volume, make a note on the dipstick of the height.

As long as you check oil pick up is correct

That would overfill.
Reduce oil capacity to suit the replacement sump
