I have done a search but I can't find any instructions on how to fit muffs.

Can someone help?

1. Do you need to remove mirrors and refit them?
2. Does the 319 Tucano fit a F650 with handguard?
3. Anyone got photo instructions? :nenau

Thanks in advance.

Morning Tom. Warmed up yet? :D

Usually there's a velcro closure that means you can get the muffs onto the bars and just close up the velcro around the mirror arms. Then bend those metal arm things on the muffs so they run along the bars or the bar brace, using the elastic rope with the velcro ends to secure 'em.

I just bodged about with mine til they went on. All seems OK!

you know for a brief moment I read the title wrong and thought you were asking about how to fist a muff......:( .......I'm not proud of myself and confirms everything I thought about not being totally awake till I've had my coco pops.....:drool

+ 1 can be pain in arse but definately worth it, life saver during the winter months and espexially the rain.

cheers,

Tom, call BMW assist, they'll send a van around to fit them for you.

Open flap a, rotate panel c, open closer h, rotate clockwise, close closer h, close flap a, then fasten safety lace I. this method takes 30 seconds per side. But helps if you turn the bike upside down.:blast
