FLHTP - Electra Glide

True..I concur...but Wood Boy is still talking bollox about the "extra alternator".....:P

I'll see if I can dig out his web address. You could then tell him it's bollocks. He may give a big fat hairy fuck...but guess what? :upyou

Was he one of your "special" customers? :D

No, I was one of his. The next bike he showed me apparently had an uprated menstrual cycle. He said if I bought it he would throw in a box of power bands for nothing. I think he liked me.

I've got a box of Strokes, happy to swop you 2 for a power band?

My FLHTP from a long time ago. I bought in in the UK from a police biker that had bought it after testing in his area/force. Brought it back here to dublin and had a blast owning it for about a year. The sirens & lights were all working but never had a problem as all my customers were cops. I rented it out a few times to department stores for display and some photo ads. Then I sold it on and took a large profit from a custom bike builder in Waterford that cut it up and made some type of custom bike.

I moustache you a question Luke. Did you let the rather fetching upper lip weasel go with the bike or keep it?

Anyway I hope you're proud of yourself. You've ruined poor old Rainbow-Walkers thread.

Oh look, here's a 50 amp alternator.....wanna guess wher it fits my fuckwitted friend? :D

God you're like one of those tedious people that you used to get at bike rallies (and most likely still do - it's been a number of years) that would stand about verbally sparring with anyone who would listen about dwell angles and whether that is a standard circlip or an aftermarket one. "Oh yes, I think you will actually find that the mkIV 1976 model had the extra notch on the carb needle thereby allowing an extra half horsepower"... give me strength!

.....And he is back in the game:beerjug:
I miss this stuff. :clap

Only popped in. It was a cold, wet and miserable day and I had fuck all to do today so thought I thought impart my encyclopaedic knowledge of HD Police bikes electrical systems. My work here is done I feel.
