Hello every1.

As you might know I am pulling apart a f650gs motor. Everything is nearly of that I can take off. Finally succeeded in removing the timing/flywheel nut off using heat and a long breaker bar.
Now to take off the flywheel without damaging anything. This can easily be done with the "Official BMW Flywheel Puller". Problem is that the likelyhood that the dealer will lend it to me is... well you know...zilch, nada, niente.
So I turn to you dear friends for some advice. I am not sure a conventional puller will fit the assembly as the gasket surfaces very close to the wheel.

Thanks in advance.

The puller is a standard female thread 38 x1.5mm, and also fits Suzuki DRZ 4OOs and Kawasaki DRZ 400s .

If you cant find on in the UK try a Google on Dennis Stubblefield Sales Inc

Put the motor in the car boot ..pop down to the dealer (Ocean) and ask them to pull it? I've done this in the past with the odd small engine. I eventually bought a puller that screws into most small genny flywheels I come across as Beemerboff suggests. Try M&P,MPS maybe even Fowlers..

Found a puller that will do the job. Its for a See-Doo of all things. Costs an outrageuos £38 plus postage!!!
