Just had BMW alarm fitted to new GS. Apparently the new batch of alarms cannot be coded to a fob. This the K1600GT fob I have is useless. No ferry mode to disable the movement sensor, or cancelling the alarm from your house if it goes off in the night. Off to a different dealer to confirm this but it supposedly came direct from BMW UK. Progress, eh?
