fog lights

Hi I'm fairly new to the site but guess this question has been asked a thousand times! ! But if someone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

I have a GS1200 07
I've just bought some fog lights to fit.
Whats the best way of wiring them up?
Can I take a positive feed from the side light, or should I wire seperatly with a relay and fuse.
If I do the second option. wheres the best place to take a feed so that the lights will turn off with the ignition?
