Foot & hand protector thingies.....any good?

I made up a couple of pairs of these and didnt really get a chance to try them out.
I then sold the bike and gave them away ,, alas i didnt get the promised report.
I have just bought a wunderlich set to see how they differ from these types.
They work brilliantly , but boy does your feet sweat in good weather. All my sales efforts are in a different direction these days

Wunderlich Foot Protectors

Only problems that I've encountered are that the rubber wears away when cornering.............
So weather protection is severely reduced with less rubber available to stop the crap going over your boots
