A|nyone tried fitting a footpeg lowring kit to 1200's?, fitted a set to my 1150 and have done the last 86,000 miles in comfort. Never had a prob with ground clearance as my boot hits thr road first and it needs to be well over beore this happens anyway. Seen a set in NN's for £139! but not sure these would be a lot of good 1150 ones were Wunderlich well made and such a difference, having the same probs with the 1200 aching thighs after a longish run due to legs being too cramped up raising the seast ain't gonna help.

Had a set of TT lowers on 1200.No problems [they were off my 1150 & went back on after selling the 12]
Other than slight adjustment to rear foot brake [took 2 mins]

footpegs

Thanks for that Ash, I have a wonderlich kit on my 1150 but did not want to start stripping it as it's future is not yet certain. The NN site is confusing, they list kits one for nearly £300!! and others but then I found wunderlich
foot rests for £70 which give me an inch so have ordered them. Just that little bit makes all the difference there less of an acute angle on the 1200
than the 150 so this might do it, having long legs I had the same prob with the 1150 bad cramps in the thighs but after fitting footrest kit no probs
on it all day long for 86,000 (not in one day!) no probs, so here's hoping.

Get some FastWay pegs, they can be installed in either normal or lower settings. Get an additional pair of GS foot peg rubbers from your friendly dealer. Remove the original foot peg rubbers and jam all four footpeg rubbers into the fastway pegs.
