Have just picked up the March edition of "Bike" Magazine. They have done a "best of the test" type article comparing all the bikes they have long term tested.....and the winner is...(pauses for dramatic effect..).....the BMW 1200GS. I wont bore you with the details but basicaly it re-iterates all those things you find out on your first test ride....great comfort, great view, quality build, quick, two up excellence etc etc etc....
Want my new bike even more now......roll on 5th March......

The fact that I have a new GS on order almost takes away the pain of last wednesday...almost but not quite....4-2...at home for chrisssssake!!!

Arsene Wengers face was a picture wasn't it?
Good luck with your new bike. March is probabaly the best time to get a new bike with all the spring and summer in front of you.

Why would you want to, when there's REAL sport on for a change......

If balls were meant to be carried, they'd have handles on them;)

....And if Arsenal had played all season like they played yesterday, we'd still be top:rolleyes:

He He, the sort of real sport we in Wales love, send the cocksure English back to Twickers with red faces, dented egos and no Grand Slam, Triple Crown etc, all the more rewarding when we played such a poor second half .

:D

So Arsenal fans do make some good decisions in life, like buying GS'... :beerjug:

As a lifelong, born in Manchester, Man U fan I can honestly say that few things were sweeter than going to Highbury and punishing you lot!! That and stopping you in your tracks at 49.. Better luck next season mate, this one's over for you :D

Just two things to say really...
1. Wales - It shows lack of ambition for a scraped victory in the dying minutes...at home....to a team missing countless first teamers to be considered a "great victory"....can you imagine the slaggin the England team would have got if we had squeked home by 2 points playing Wales at HQ??
2. Ref the Arse....have to agree...it is so so over for us..a season that showed such early promise. Cant seam to beat the big teams (just like Chelsea last season)...no good beating Villa, Everton etc if you lose points to the people that matter...your rivals...still there is always next season!

Fantastic!!!!

They do exist!! A Man U supporter that actually comes form Manchester.

Well done mate!!

Why is it, and it's got nothing to do with being a Charlton fan myself, that I and most of the people I know always want Man U to lose? My personal opinoin is that its' Ferguson, I think if they had a pink and fluffy bloke like ermmmmmmm the late Brian Clough as manager, people would feel differently about them.

Anyway, dont suppose Charlton will have the angst of meeting either Man U or Arsenal in Europe in the near future

:beerjug:

Cheers

Steve

I think the managers have a lot to do with it... Fergie is a big part of the reason why enough of the love doesn't reach Old Trafford.

Personally, I don't understand it. He's just a hard working bloke trying to do his job like the rest of us.:D

Or it could be we've been the best team in British football for the past 11 years and the top dog always gets the abuse.

What is it now....2 games won in the last 18 played ??? Quality :D

Personally I was far more disappointed in the Scotland v France game. The Italian forwards were good to watch against the Irish too.

Anyway for a nailbiting finish it was the equaliser for Everton away to Southampton!

Agree on the Italians...great performance...difference was O'Driscoll....a man apart. real class.

As for Man U and Ferguson....i think it is both. They have been at the top for so long that we all want to see them fall. Ferguson does come accross as an arrogant shit. However I think it is because they aree just bad winners. They gloat too easy and because of their history seem to think they have a right to be top. However for me the real reason I hate them is Bobby Charlton. What a complete tosser.....he can be on TV and without saying a word he riles me. I am please to say that when I met him, about 5 years ago he was.....a complete tosser. So full of his own importance...no sense of humour...bitching because every minior thing was not laid on for him.....

Seems they tested the GS in the best colours too, well, apart from the grey side panels. :D
