genuine mileage. i've know this bike since it had 4K on it and brokered 2 sales for it. should have bought it myself :blast

i always like to see old bikes with their original, especially pressed ali, plates. i like this one a lot 'cos it's 70s italian über dealer Sports Motorcycles.

rides beautifully, barely run in :)

Is this the Ebay one, who bought it .. Pikey?

it's not from ebay. it's belonged to a friend of mine for years. i knew someone looking for one and put them together :hug

i'll probably ride it to the pigfest tomorrow.

:clap thanks for sharing :D

hey - when are us Guzzisti getting our own section :nenau

there's a place for Katooms, DRZs etc... we should have our own :rob
i dont care that it's probably only mine that goes offroad (intentionally too :eek ) - they let those 'car' things in here so..... :green gri

p.s + hijack;
anyone got a set of handlebars fit for a mk 3 Cali?
narrower than 39" ( :eek yes - i know that farkin ridiculous - why you think i want a narrower pair :P )

That really is lovely, really, really lovely :)

Sooooo much nicer than the 'polished to an inch of it's life' one that was on here the other day.

Cookie, if your friend ever decides to get rid please let me know!

Andres

it's a great bike, but the riding position is not so great. not dissimilar to pushing a wheelbarrow.

just got back from ringwood on it and am wondering how i'm going to fit two "well nourished" people on tomorrow for the ride to andover :mmmm

looking at that saddle - explains why they were called "buddy seats".
coz if ya weren't when you started the ride... you were by the time you'd finished it. :ymca :D

....course I wouldn't have that problem :augie

I agree, there must be enough interest here.

i think you've summed it up quite nicely.

i've just done 100 odd miles on it to the pigfest and back. feels like a new bike. tight engine and gearbox, linkages have no slop in them. pulls well, but gets a bit breathless when pressing on (probably :mmmm ). can't keep up with a GT750, but it's fun trying :)

i'd be very tempted to fit T3 bars. it would make it more comfy and more confidence inspiring to ride er briskly.

a very nice bike. i doubt there's much better outside the mandello museum.
