Hi Folks, I'm putting my bike up for sale. I'm trying the forums first, to try and save me the heartache of adverts and dung deal! I bought this in November 2014 and I'm selling because I've bought a 1200gs. I'm putting it in here before I go to the for sale section and aforementioned sites.

Bike Make : BMW

Bike Model : R1150 GS

Year : 2000

Price : € 2900

Mileage : 58,558

Colour : SILVER

Extras : TOURATECH handguards, Remus exhuast, baglux tank cover and tankbag, system panniers, tobinators, braided hoses front and rear, ram mounts. New AGM battery fitted a number of months ago.
comes with a spare final drive (just in case) and she has a refurbished rear shock- refurbished by ABE in the UK. The old unrestored shock is also included. Also, she has a set of HH brake pads front and rear. Bronze pivot bearings on final drive. They don't need to be serviced bar a little grease.

Overall Bike Condition : Good for its age. Usual corrosion on the front of the engine. Dent in left lobe of the tank. I don't think it reduces the tank range by much:D

Tyre/Chain/Sprocket Condition : Tyres: Annakee 2 @ 57,500 miles.

Service History/Receipts/Recent Service work : Fully serviced 1000 miles ago. I have the paper work I received with the bike plus the receipts I've generated since buying it. I've changed the fluid's myself and Robbie in Mototechnic set the valves, installed the braided hoses. I had a lot of trouble with the final drive, it is now on final drive number three and whilst it's not as pretty as the original it works well.

ABS. This is an ABS model. It's NOT SERVO ASSIST.

Non Restricted/Shop Restricted/Factory Restricted : Not restricted

Bike Location : Dublin

Irish/English Registered : Irish

Any Other Relevant Info : Bike has lots of little scrapes and scratches from daily use. However, it still scrubs up well. It is also dead straight. Drives great and in some ways I prefer it to the 1200 I'm replacing it with. feel very solid and will happily sit at 90 miles an hour on a german motorway. 100 if your feeling frisky.
