I was bought a Forcefield Pro Sub 4 last month (anniversary present :D ) and whilst the fit is spot on and it clearly covers more across the shoulders and lower spine than the CE back protector that came with the jacket, I don't find it nearly as comfortable.

Anyone tried using a separate protector? How'd you get on?

Hi
I think maybe you will find over time that yours will mould to your backs shape and become more comfortable with time, could be wrong tho?

I have a HG one and the only problem I have is actually putting it on.
sometimes I forget to wear it and head off to work with no back protector
:blast
must be getting old
it also gets a bit warm when I use it in the summer

I have quite a lot of Forcefield armour, including the Pro Sub 4. It does get quite a lot softer and mould itself to your shape with body heat. However, it is quite a bulky piece of kit as befits what is, quite possibly, the most protective back protector there is. It's a trade off between protection and comfort.
