Fork gaitors

In the process of repainting my paralever arm, yoke and fork lowers (due to gs corrosion)
I am considering fitting fork gaitors and some form of gaitor/cover over the front shock.
Anyone done similar?
Realise that the 'fork legs' arent legs in the normal sense, but could surely still do with some protection.
I know that i could buy those crappy neoprene things but i really dont like the look nor can i see how much protection they give as they do not cover the whole of the 'stanchion'
Ideas and comments please

V nice but not at that price
No just rubber Gaitors on the hard chromed stanchion.
Just wondering if any one had fitted them.
But gone and done it myself now
