Anyone know wherer i can get some carbon fibre or similar fork protectors?

I have some marks on my forks on the blue anodised parts (ballast for HIDS came loose for presious owner and scratched the anodise away).

Not huge but i want to prevent corrosion.

I thought about vinyl tape...But wondered if there where fork protectors out there that did the job?

Google doesnt show me anything for 1150GS or adventure :(

Surely TouraTech must make some overpriced bling for this application? :augie

They do Neoprene ones...Which are great if your into diving!

I didnt want these as they absorb water and with bear aluminium underneath i would think it will accelerate corrosion having a damp neoprene skin on the scar.

I was thinking a hard guard not too disimilar to those on Motocrossers.

I used clear vinyl about 6 years ago, still in place, blue anodising unmarked after 55,000 miles.:)

Have had neoprene protectors on my 1150 for past two years now - coated the forks with ACF50 before I put them on but have not removed them until yesterday after about 45000 miles, and they look just the same as they did two years ago, just as crappy as they did then, but certainly no worse.
