Hi Gents,
finally on this snowy day I have carried out (positively, it seems
) the fork seal change on my '03 650 GS.
Had a leak on the right fork after 30000 kilometers.
It is awesome the tons of information we can get nowdays from the right sources.
Anyway, this was my second "major" (OK...do not laugh pls.
) job on my bike, after last year's steering head bearings replacement and I enjoyed it very much.
I am convinced the result came out nicely and I like this to be a way to start knowing my bike more "intimately"
.
Too bad I am considering a swap with the 800 GS next year (2009) if I like the several test rides and information I am going to gather throughout this year....
Many thanks to all of you who so kindly share their knowledge with other (less gifted
) on this forum.
Cheers
