FOUND - pannier box

I have found in my local park a hard pannier box for what looks like a R1100/1150GT. It is locked and seems empty. The lock that attaches it to the bike looks broke and forced off the bike.
It has no numbers or markings on it and it is a colour matched side pannier.
I am based in East Manchester, Failsworth. I found it on wednesday morning, the police have been tardy offering advice (as I thought the bike it was from might have been stolen too) so maybe if anyone knows of a person who owns a beemer bike in or around this area minus a hard pannier, get them to get in touch with a nearer description of the item.
If anyone knows of other forums I could post on please let me know.

Ha ha. It is heavy for just a pannier, if there is a head in it, it must be pretty snug!

Tarry lost one a while back of his 1150ADV.....mind you, he lives in Liverpool so it was probably nicked
