Frame guards for 2002 WR250F

Looks like your new bike has some already, Acerbis blue ones - better than those alloy ones

It does JB, but they're well worn and i removed them to clean the frame, so I thought I might as well buy some new ones if I can get hold of some, rather than fit the old ones - though I kept the old ones just in case! They're easy to get hold of in the USA for older WR250s but not in the UK it seems!

I'd keep the plastic ones as they do a far better job of protecting the paint and fit well against your boots without damaging them

Not a fan of the alloy type

Pity Acerbis stopped making the plastic ones years ago

I bought a set of frame protectors for my 2009 WR250R from them along with some swinging arm protectors.
I've no idea whether they will fit a 2002 WRF but they weren't particularly expensive.

NB: I don't do eBay so rang the guy. He was happy to deal direct & did me a better deal that way.

Nope, they won't fit - the frame on my bike is tubular rather than flat. I can get some plastic protectors from the USA. Your bike is very well sorted Timaloy

That's a shame. Might be worth giving hima call see if he does any pre 2008?
