I have noticed that my boot is rubbing the paint off the frame on the left hand side of the bike. Touratech do a frame protector in either black or aluminium. Has anyone fitted one of these?

I used a couple of lengths of rubber hose, slit along their length and then held to the frame with cable ties.

For touching up the paint, Hammerite silver spray on is a pretty good colour match.

Silver duct tape fitted to the tubular frame where your boot hits and same again on the heel guard.
Done with a bit care and you can't tell.

Bang on! Saw a Clio today with the obligatory 8 inch dia exhaust exiting through a noce mock carbon hole in the rear spoiler. Summed it up for me! :D

Keep riding it and it never rusts over....sorted.
