Toxteth scouser, made good ..now hiding on Wirral
My neighbours son has had this absolutely superb long coated male German Shepherd ( 4 yrs old ) which he 'rescued' ( they delivered, from a couple darn south:thumb2)...........but his landlord has decided he doesn't want him to keep the dog in his house so a new home must be found before the end of the week. Dog is living on the Wirral and ( genuinely ) if it wasn't for the fact I already have two German Shepherds of my own, I'd (excuse the pun ) bite his hand off.

Lovely dog, free to a good caring home. Thought I'd try on here as a last resort !

Might be worth contacting Derek Williams at Cheshire Canine Centre, he may be able to help.

What's he like with other dogs and how much training has he had?

Just a thought but

do the Police still take dogs from members of the public ?

Not at 4 years old they don't.

I cringe when I see a dog being given away 'free'. It smacks of someone who isn't too concerned about the dog's future welfare and doesn't require the new owner to display any level of commitment going forward. Most dog re-homing services charge at least a token fee to discourage spur of the moment adoptions that enevitably end up badly for the dog.
Let's hope that the dog finds a caring, loving home that can offer him stability and contentment for the rest of his life.

I know what you mean, but that's why it's good Kenny is on the case.
I have no doubt he'd tell someone to piss off if there was a doubt about their suitability...he's a GSD man himself :thumb

I can't offer the dog a home, but If anyone down south is interested in the dog I am travelling from North Wales to Greenford on the 16th and can offer transport for the hound.

Thanks guys, keep asking around.:thumb2

He is a superb friendly dog ( lives with another dog and currently staying next door with their two dogs ). Likes a cuddle ( the GS not me!! :D) and a great social dog.
