Free Video Converter

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend me a free program to convert mts / AVHD video to JPEG or MPEG? Have done a quick search but nothing recent.

Basically, I need to take HD video from my camera and convert to conventional format to work with photo sharing sites.

Have a look at Super. I have been using this free programme for a while now and it is excellent. Will convert almost any video file to any format. You will have to click through three or four pages to get to the download, just make sure to get the Super download and not the site sponsored avs software.

Handbrake will do it. I use it all the time on the Mac and they do a Windows version too.

why not use imovie or windows movie media? use these as your edit systems then convert in the save as option and upload to video sharing site from there.

I think they all offer the format tool so you can save it to pretty much anything you want.
