Who is good and reasonable on price on Bike insurance in France nowadays (French registered bike, Dept 17, - not sure what yet but some sort of big trailie)?

Cheap French insurance does not exist in my experience but AMV seem to be bike specialists, though i am sure there are more experienced members who will be along soon Franco will probably be one of them. p.s. we must live fairly close to each other in the UK, we should meet up and say hello some time good luck Ken.B

I use AGF in dept. 16, now part of Allianz.
Not the cheapest but were excellent when I needed to claim, for the car.
And they speak English, in our local office at least, which I find essential for things like insurance.

I use MAAF for all my insurance and our local office are very helpful and try to understand my bad French.

Problem with all French insyrance companies is when you make a claim. I'm still waiting for an apparently straightforward accident claim (not my fault) to be resolved after 3 years.

And don't even get me started on how they wheedled their way out of paying for half of our barn which burned down (leaving me €12,000 out of pocket)

Dinan in Brittany has an office that is staffed by English/English speaking people, and deals mainly with English people living in France.
