Front ABS sensor wire routing 2002 adv

After many weeks in bits for a good clean up and painting the bottom of the fork legs , i have a question.

The wire for the ABS sensor wire is clipped to the front brake hose from just under the headstock until about the last 6" before the sensor mounting, the wire has two metal clips that look as if the clip onto the speedo cable ?
Could anyone please confirm if that is the case, or advise otherwise

If it`s the same as the 1100 (and 1150) forks,the clips are pushed into small recesses in the fork lower.....thus the ABS cable runs on the inside face of the fork leg,emerging through the 'hole' in the middle of the sensor mounting casting.

will have to have a closer look at the inside of the fork leg
