Front caliper-help/advice

My 2000 400E has just failed it's MOT on two things, headlight alighnment easy fix and the front brake binding slightly.
I have stripped, cleaned re stripped and cleaned again. Popped the pistons right out and cleaned seals etc, still binding slightly.
Have now removed the dust seals which were a bit knacked, it does seem a bit better, but when the front brake is released the wheel will spin 2 or 3 revolutions before stopping.
I am going to take it for a retest tomorrow, but is there anything else I should try. Maybe they'll take pity or should I just give up but new seals/caliper

2 or 3 revolutions is more than ok, your mot man is takin the p*ss if he fails it
a SLIGHTLY binding brake is not a failure in itself

Thanks Digger, thats what I thought, in fact just been back in the garage, and it spins more like 5 or 6 times. If I give the caliper a kick it spins freely!

I think I will have a look on the VOSA site, it worked when the car failed and I pointed out that the Vosa guidelines were in conflict with what they said, they soon passed it then.

I thought it was ok, but didn't mind too much as I thought a quick clean would do the trick. But I am a bit pee'd off at trying to achieve the impossible.
They are a small outfit and I guess they thought they'd get some extra buisness.
I must say that I got several advisories which are in my opinion more serious. I will be sorting them pronto.
