I'm hoping to do a very quick caliper change this evening. Can someone tell me what seals/washers I will need to replace if any? A search hasn't shown anything and I don't want to pull it apart tonight and then be off the road tomorrow whilst I source new parts.

I'm assuming there will be copper or alloy washers betweeen the union and the caliper which will need to replaced. If so are these special BMW items or will any car brake centre have the necessary?

Thanks for any input.

I bought a packt of copper crush washers from my local car accessory shop that fit just fine, if the old ones are copper they can be re-annealed with a gas flame and re-used.

Thanks Stewart. I found that it had copper washers from new so heat/quench clean re-use.

I now have front brakes with 8 moving pistons intead of around 3¼. It's made the Heidi K60 develop a fault though. It doesn't grip when I brake hard.:toungincheek
