Front grill thingymebob

Don't agree.
The plain one looks a lot better. The NN 'Reyno' has a real "pimp my GS" look to that tacky strip/GS sign across the middle. Just how many GS signs, stickers, logos and engravings are needed on a GS? The blasted things are so unmistakable you hardly need to any identifying marks on them at all, never mind adding more!:D
Blue neon under-lighting anyone?

Not that I've been taking a close look at My Reyno's grill lately (which I think is actualy available in a choise of GS or ADV logo or plain) but this one looks like a direct copy :nenau

I figured that in loosing two gs logos form the back when the lower silver rear panel was replaced, and then fitted IMO the best looking grill on the market and was also well pleased with me new forward faceing logo :thumb2 I think it finishes the front of the bike off rather well. :P

Didn't realise I was into bling :mmmm :nenau

Do these grills actually do anything worthwhile? I'd have thought that flies' innards, etc. would still get mashed into the oil cooler behind the grill. :nenau Or am I wrong? :)

They are sized to stop boys scouts and half bricks being sucked into the oil cooler and causing damage :thumb

Just fitted the Beowulf grill looks the "biz",about 30 mins fitting time .cheaper than nn delivered in 2 days. :thumb2 :beerjug:

I used to ride a Ducati 996 with an unprotected oil cooler, and it looked pretty shabby fairly quickly.

I did notice that the GS beak funnerls insects into the cooler - and as this appeared to be worse than the Duc I immediately bought a 'protector'.

This certainly makes it easier to clean away the insects from their mortuary on the front of my bike. I've also caught a few small stones.... so I guess it probably is worthwhile. As for which one to buy - well you make your own mind up, and make your own fashion statement. (If fashion and GS can be used in the same sentence:nono )

Cheers
