Anybody out there with alloy wheels tried fitting an R1100S front mudguard. You know the wraparound style one??

Not tried it because the mounting points are missing from the GS fork legs. You could try large "P" clips but the mudguards are expensive & you can buy proper ones for the GS.

Thanks matey, I was thinking of "P" clips aswell. I understand the cost is a lot which is why I was interested to know if anyone else had done this. I also think the wraparound may look better/more unusual than the usual (?) offerings from Fallert, Motoworks et al.

Let us know how you get on & post some pics, if you can. The wrap around style of the R1100S m/guard will at least protect the fork legs a bit. I got carbonfibre M/X fork protectors to do this on mine.
