My bike is two weeks old, just done 650 miles, going very well, very smooth and has not used a drop of oil despite some spirited riding.
Was checking the suspension settings today against the hand book and notice that the front preload is set at 3 notches off the lowest setting (I presume this is the softest setting) which in the hand book is the setting for off road use. The road setting in the handbook is 3 notches from the highest (hardest ? ) setting. I was looking to lower the front anyway to speed up the steering, so I will leave it as it is, but I was wondering if they all come like this............
I am also curious that in the hand book the off road preload settings are low/soft front & high/hard back, does this sound correct ?

As far as I'm aware, the standard setting is three positions from softest. I certainly find this a little hard and choppy, as I think several others on this forum would agree. For off road/increased loads you would simply stiffen it up front and rear to suit.
