Hello all,
Just noticed that the gap between my seat and the tank on my 1200 GSA is quite big. Enough to gets my fingers between the seat and the front of the tank.
The seat is at its highest setting. Is this normal ?
Where does all the rain go ? Straight on to the battery by the looks of it.

They all do that, Sir. A finger width gap sounds about right.

The rain is channelled, filtered, de-ionised and used to automatically top up the battery.:D

Make sure the seats in the little tag things by the tank AND that the little metal things on the bottom of the seat are in the little hooks and you shouldn't have a problem.

I never notice the gap as I ride Balls on Tank as I'm a short arse.

I was a tad worried that my Champer would get caught in the gap!
Looks like a nice place for my Autocom plug to exit though.

Many thanks gentlemen.

Kev

Both the OEM and Kahedo seat sits flush on my GSA as did my now ex-Sargents - are you sure you have both the front and rear height settings the same?

It does this when you have the front of the seat set to high setting and the back of the seat on low.

Set them both on high.... or low and the gap dissapears :thumb
