Frozen fingers

+1 on the Tucano Muffs, Ive had a set.....
a little awkward remembering where the horn button was in the beginning:thumb

i've never had any trouble finding me horn when i've had me hand in a muff. :augie

Og! what about a bit of plastic sheet fixed under the hand guards with a couple O tiny self tappers, stop the nasty cold blowin on the fingers...I just
happen to have knicke eerr found some of that plastic in the scrap bin:augie in work, will give it a go and report back.
 
Just a thought for those that 'feel handcuffed' to the bars...

I made my own muffs and to keep the open end from flapping (never quilted them like I expect the bought ones are) in the wind, I inserted a piece of fiberglass rod (bought from a kite shop) around the rear edge... pops it open so that you don't feel like you are sliding your hands into gloves... but just reaching into open holes to grip the bars...

Not sure if bought muffs come with something in them to hold the hole open.. but if not a bit of the thin rod would do the job IMHO...
