Fantastic Photography, really enjoyed it.

Only a couple of days ago I watched the Bluray, EARTH. More absolutely amazing photography of the Natural and Animal World. The extras on the disc were great as well showing just how they had filmed some of the shots.

Have the 5 Disk Bluray Box set, PLANET EARTH still to watch. Approx 550 minutes so just as well I don't have SKY TV to distract me. Mind you Rude Tube Extreme rides is distracting me right at the moment

I was up doing some work there about 18 months ago (just there for a month). We were about 200 miles above the artic circle and occasionally about 100 miles off the west coast.

A truly stunning place. We had the amazing fortune of seeing polar bears and several of them were particularily keen in attempting to get on the back of one of our supply boats but couldn't get on as the rollers for the handling chains kept causing it to slide off again - thankfully......

There is a UK company who has secured the drilling rights for west of Greenland. They have 7 "squares" ( areas to actually drill in) and the one which I was involved with last year was bigger then the entire North sea.
