Fuel/ Bike cutting out with 6-10 liters left

Hi Guys,

My GS adventure is cutting out with anywhere between 6- 10 liters left in the tank. When it dose so I lean the bike to the left to get the fuel to flow into the left side of the tank and it starts again and runs until that fuel is used up. I have taken out the fuel pump and it all looks ok. I think the mechanism that draws the fuel from the right side of the tank to the pump on the left must be screwed but it looks fine to me.

Has anyone had similar problems?

I think the mechanism that draws the fuel from the right side of the tank to the pump on the left must be screwed but it looks fine to me.

In a nutshell, the issue is cured by replacing the fuel pump for a new one which creates better fuel pressure and higher volume flow, which then drives the venturi jet pump (return pump) well enough to return fuel from right to left sides.

Same issue with my 2011 GSA. Dropped it off today for warranty work. Lets see what they do about it.
