:D :beerjug:

Umbrella free from Axa. I use it as it is French.

The tube, found after much searching, came from Mr Bricolage ('Mr DIY') in Apt, Provence, France. So continuing the Gallic theme. A few euro. This was cut to length, therefore wasting a small section.

Cable ties, to hold on tube behind GSA's offside pannier frame, also free from a BT engineer who was working in the street.

BM do covers for the HP2. I've been told by my dealer they will fit :nenau

If anybody has fitted these to a GS, I would love to see a photo

It's a late response, but better than never ... so here we go. I saw the HP protectors mounted on another GS, and thought they are better (speak: more useful) than some of the other more fancy looking aftermarket protectors:

They're made of meaty fibre enforced flexible plastic, not comparable at all to the other string-tanga plastic guards from BMW. For me the shin protection factor was important. I did cut them:

The whole story is here: clicky.

How much and where from?

They would certainly relieve the worry of twatting something vital off with my boot.

Although perhaps I should not worry so much as nobody has reported breaking any of the items these protect.

I have a TPS protector only because a knowledgeable chap in Colorado reckoned that was the only thing you reall needed if going off road on the beast. The likely hood of actually damaging it was very small and you'd probably looking at a trashed bike but he'd seen the TPS damaged before and considered it a good thing to do!

As mine does get a little fun on the rough stuff I fitted one but you won't knock it off on your Tesco run Rasher so don't worry:D

Bought mine off here and I think it's one of Tourtafeck's finest :nenau

It is an original BMW part but probably very little known. Follow the link above for part nos. At that time it costs Euro 150.
