Fuel Pump Controller

I am no techie but could someone please point me to a thread showing where this part is and how it is replaced?

Seems sensible to get clued in about this, since a few riders have been caught with their pants down...... thanks!

Thanks for the links guys ... I had seen those pictures. A pan out shot would have helped me identify the parts' location. The pictures on Page 1 are not live linked but those on Page 2 are visible.


The Haynes manual doesn't seem too helpful with this inquiry ?!

Ok, find where the beak joins to the tank panels on the right hand side and look down. If that's not clear enough, turn the handlebars as if you were doing a sharp left turn, the shiny top of the left fork is next to the join.

My 07 GSA doesn't have the plastic slotted cover that my 04 GS did. That help?

Ah that will be the part that left me stranded yesterday. many thanks to Martin Pink from BMW assist who came out and fitted a new part under warranty thankfully. Seems a silly design as water collects in the well area.
