Fuel Tank refitting

Hi chaps,
I took the tank off my GS 1150 Adventurer a couple of weeks ago to sort fuel pump problem and reploace filter, now i'm putting it back i'm a bit confused to as how it reconects, OK of the fuel pump unit you have two breather pipes and two fuel lines ans a multi plug thingy, i,ve got no problem there but where i'm struggling is there are two pipes coming from the left and right hand side of the bottom of the tank, theseare not shown in my manual, do they conect to each other as they are male and female and I can't see where else they can conect to?????

Those two ends connect to each other.
They transfer fuel from one lobe to the other.

i came to that conclusion in the end, all sorted now and purring like a kitten.
