Fuel Tap query

I recently changed the gaskets in the fuel taps on my 100GSPD because they leaked like crazy when I bought the bike. The R/H side one still persists on weeping from the threaded bit. I've taken it off again and tightened it, put Ptfe tape on the thread put it back tight and...it still weeps! Any thoughts what else I can try?

There should be a O and a black disk- if you have replaced both and it still leaks the tap is probably stuffed.

I think I only have ptfe on mine and they dont leak. It sounds like you may need to use a little more ptfe and possibly do them up a little tighter

Mmmm..I'll try that over the weekend. I always have a fear of over tightening! If it persists then I'll renew it. The other one was the same but that's fine now so maybe it is my lack of confidence! Thanks for the help.
