I have recently been forced to change ISP by John Lewis pulling out of broadband.

I have ended up with a Which recommended provider Zen. Their full fibre service is giving me over 100 Mbps (even over WiFi). However my Samsung smart TV is only getting around 3 Mbps. The router is in the same room as the TV about 6 metres in line of sight and about 4ft off the ground on a shelf. The TV is about 10 years old and we never had a problem watching YouTube videos until the change. Now we get 'loading' interruptions regularly. Doing the classic turn off, wait 10 seconds and turn back on for the router and the TV have not solved anything.

Previously we were fibre to the box outside and copper to the house.

Any thoughts anyone?

Have you tried connecting the TV to the router with Ethernet cable?

I second the ethernet cable suggestion.

I would guess that using a new ISP you were sent a new router? If so,maybe the tv needs setting up again?

Good luck
