Hello

Can anyone explain me how many fuses does a R100GS has?

1-free (?)
2-rear light, instrument light, head light, …
3-turn signal, horn,…
4-free (?)

Does ignition has a fuse?

BTW: does anyone have one fuse box that is willing to sell me? Mine is broken and is missing the top cover. Every time I need to look into the fuses I have to dig them out!

On mine 4 is used for the auxiliary socket

I'm not sure if the fuse box is a replaceable item. Someone bodged mine before I purchased my bike - a very poor attempt was made to splice into one of the circuits in the actual box. The connector 'pins' are very difficult to remove - it probably requires a special tool. I gave up trying to replace the fuse box and repaired it after a fashion. Maybe someone else here is more knowledgeable on this and can add some more information.

the fuse layout depends on if you have an 88-90 bike or a later one, according to the wiring diagrams in my Haynes manual

earlier bikes only have 2 fuses (unless you have an auxiliary power socket which would use one of the spare positions) - not sure about the later bikes, though have a vague memory they may have more than 2 main fuses as standard?
