FXDX Rear shock alternatives

One of the rear progressive shocks is leaking on my 99 FXDX.

Has anyone used an alternative or have any suggestions on why would be a good replacement?

back in the day when I had my 1999 model FXDX I fitted Koni dial a ride, I think they are now called IKON. Also put on progressive fork springs and a fork brace. It all worked rather well.

Technical question ? You may be disappointed........

Just unbolt the 1 leaky shock, chuck it over the fence into next door, gaffa tape a block of wood in it's place, job jobbed and off you fuck.

I put Hagons on mine, they build them to order for your weight, are adjustable and available in differing lengths.

Can't help you with the shocks; but that's a nice looking DX. Always had a soft spot for that model.
