FYI - BRISTOL CENTRE NOW 20 LIMIT

City of Bristol has just got a 20 limit, but it's really badly signed, if at all until you see 20 painted on the road as you cruise over at 30

The Police are being really dirty about this and are having a field day

It won't be long before most cities have this, before long we'll all have to walk our bikes through.......where we're allowed

Thanks for the heads up. Salisbury City centre has had this for many years now and in reality unless it's very early or very late it's nigh on impossible to do 20.

It's been going on for months, but it does not make any difference as Bristol is a Shit Hole for drivers/riders and you can't exceed 5 mph .....

This limit has been in place for a very long time, e.g. many months, but not sure if it's being enforced. Experience of travelling in this suburbia every day is that the masses are not complying. Fixed digital ANPR cameras, e.g. two on Whiteladies Rd , have the ability to print loads of money, but don't know how or if they are set to enforce these new limits. For sure, if you do 20mph going down Whiteladies Rd, you'll be overtaken by cyclists!
