hi chaps what do you tekies think to the garmin 176c , will it hold all of the uk at street level , on the world base map will i be able to nav around morocco ta gerry wallbank

Maybe & not without the Michelin map coz the base map is not very accurate.

The 176 c will hold the whole of the UK and Spain on one 64 meg data cartridge.

I loaded the Garmin world map section of Morocco which was fine for my trip but, I would always suggest taking a map too.

There is a problem with the colour screen 'washing' out in bright sunlight, the mono 176 has not got this porblem.

Be sure to go for the Super MvG Touratech bracket designed for singles, part number 065-0055

I originaly had the standard Touratech bracket and had problems with the screen blanking at high RPM's.
