I'm having great difficulty getting Garmin to answer my emails.
My 2610 has developed a minor fault. the unit works fine, but the port for connecting the USB lead to has come loose in the back of the unit. (meaning I cant transfer data to and from the unit)
I've taken the back off and it's avery small connecton that is fixed to the back cover (not the PCB) that touches contacts in the main unit when it's assembled. It would therefore be a 2 minute job to relace this minor part, but I am unable to find anybody who may stock Garmin parts nor get Garmin to speak to me!
If anybody knows where I might get Garmin spares in the UK (I can't be the only one this had happened to) I'd be most grateful if they could let me know.
many thanks
Simon
