My mate Mick has an immaculate Garmin 2720 kit with all the bits and bobs boxes etc. He also has the RAM cradle and bike power lead which he wants to put on fleaBay. Anyone got any idea what sort reserve he should put on it as they don't seem to be coming up recently?

I mate of mine bought one of these brand new last year for about £130.00 ISTR. It was complete with V9 Mapsource, power cable and motorcycle mount (not a RAM one).

Hope this helps.

that sounds pretty cheap to me.

That sounds more like a Quest, would even be cheap for one of those. If it was a 2720 he got the deal of a lifetime.

A mob that specialise in car tours of Europe sold off its stock of very good condition 2820s the other week on Ebay.

They went for £300 to £350 each.

So, I would expect the 2720 to go for about £260, given that some vgc 2610 models can go for £200.

The 2720 has much better graphics than the 2610 and better tracking facility.

I would put a reserve of £220 max, so as not to scare people off.

Actualy they are all sold but the item is still on the website and it still accepts the order and gives you an order ref.
You only find out when you contact them to find out why it hasn't been delivered.
Guess how I know?

:(

been looking at a 2620 on ebay at 67 end 2moro s/h

but there was a 2720 at 119 brand new from a seller who only sells this stuff

Do you mean this one;

If so, it's a 2620. The data on a 2620 is stored on a micro drive rather than a memory card which means, I believe, that it is susceptible to damage by vibration and so not really suitable for use on a bike.:thumb
